Irrigation cell engagement includes ALL the activities which can translate to number of irrigation schemes (commissioned) in a time frame. Since we work in partnership mode, the set of activities varies from project to project; we do what is needed without overstepping on what our partners can do without compromising on quality of irrigation schemes and ensure it benefits small and marginal farmers. Our engagement are in area exploration, proposal development, project financing, project design and cost estimation, tender document preparation, development of training and communication materials, recruitment, and training and provides hand holding support to project staff, project sanction and approval, check materials quality, oversight in scheme implementation and smooth transfer of irrigation assets to community.
